Scope of Work

Presently we have drilled:
1x 63m 4.5m dia.
1x 93m 4.5m dia.
1x 91m 3.5m dia.
1x 83m 3.5m dia.

Project description

Directional drilled (RVDS) pilot shaft (3.5m and 4.5m) at this state of the art nuclear waste facility on the west coast of Finland. The facility shall be up and running around the year 2020. At this project we are drilling for both personnel shafts and exhaust air shafts.

Equipment on Site

Indau 250 "H2", Rhino 2000 DC (Both have left site) Sandvik reamers and cutters. Presently waiting for our new TRB Rhino 2007DC to complete the remaining shafts.

Special Features

Directional drilled pilot shafts. The Micon RVDS tool was used succesfully to provide the shafts.
