2,100 m of inclined ventilation raises in diameter 3.5 m from surface down to level 960.
Project description
Two of the longest inclined raises ever performed in Europe started in January 2001. Zinkgruvan is expanding its operation further to a lower level and needs a new ventilation system to meet the production demands. The system will consist of a number of diameter 3.5 m raises from the surface to level 960. The project commenced from the surface during the winter of 2000/2001.
Equipment on Site
Robbins 97 DC, Rhino 2000 DC Atlas (Secoroc) and Sandvik reamers and cutters.
