One ventilation shaft in 90º from surface, 240 m length and Ø4.5m.
Two ventilation shafts in 90º from 70 meter level, 180 m length and Ø3.1m.

Project description

BHP extended the Cannington Mine and needed ventilation to reach and develope the northern zone ore body.

Equipment on Site

Tamrock Rhino 1000 DC, Tamrock Rhino 2000 DC. Sandvik reamer and cutters.

Project duration

February - July 2003.

Special Features

15 inch directionally drilled pilothole from surface.
