Alcohol and drug policy

Bergteamet AB is a drug-free workplace. This means an absolute prohibition of all employees to be affected by, or use drugs in the workplace.

Action against drug abuse within the company is considered to be working both measures from health to safety. Affected persons should be immediately removed from the workplace. To create a safe workplace is everyone's responsibility to report suspicions of abuse to the labour management or protection.

Overall objective:

In order to meet our own requirements and working on “the good work”, the following guidelines for the management of alcohol and drug issues.

- Abuse of alcohol and other drugs are not compatible with the safety requirements of our business. Anyone who is, or is suspected to be, affected shall be rejected from the workplace in compliance with the applicable labour law.

- Employees with drug problems to be of firm support for and assistance with treatment and rehabilitation

- Local application of this policy is the responsibility of managers

Implementation / Responsibilities:

All employees are expected to take personal responsibility and commitment in order to detect if someone is alcohol or drug affected. Each site manager and supervisors are responsible for keeping the working environment is free from drugs.

- All employees must be informed of the contents of this policy

- If necessary, specific training on drug issues are held
