About Bergteamet

Bergteamet AB is one of the most complete suppliers of underground mining services in Europe. Founded in 1999, the company has developed quickly from its humble beginnings to include major projects both within Sweden and internationally.

Over the years, Bergteamet has had a clear focus on utilizing modern technology and its machine park has been constantly expanded with new equipment.

Right from the beginning of Bergteamet, the scope of our capabilities has been expanding. We are now a mining contractor in Sweden and at many other places around the world.

Our objective is to offer optimal total cost efficiency. Thanks to this philosophy, we have become the market leaders in mining and tunnel development that we are today.

Bergteamet has now the resources to meet new challenges. The company has reached a size which enables it to establish itself within new markets – both through a stronger organization and through its modern and effective equipment, which currently comprises hundreds of modern units.

Bergteamet’s holds the unique position as a total supplier to customers who need any type of underground work to be done.

Over the years, we have developed a very close relationship to our customers at Bergteamet AB.

The activities of Bergteamet are organized in four divisions – Electro, M E C,  Mining & Tunneling and Raise boring:

Raiseboring

The Bergteamet Raise-boring division conducts a significant percentage of its activities outside of Sweden. The division has completed a number of successful contracts in recent times in the following countries – India, Argentina, Chile, Ireland, Spain, Austria and Iceland.

Bergteamet Raiseboring is equipped with a modern and expanding machine park. The division carries out raise drilling at mines, power generation plants and civil infrastructure projects. Bergteamet Raiseboring is the largest supplier of these services within Europe and it has been growing rapidly with demand during recent times.

The flexibility and experience of our machine operators as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances are Bergteamet Raiseboring’s strengths. This means that the company never regards long distances as an obstacle to compete for contracts in countries far away from Sweden.

Mining & Tunnelling

The Bergteamet Mining and Tunneling division is currently the company’s biggest business unit and its staff and equipment are spread amongst a number of different projects. In line with the recent mining boom, mine development has been the service that has expanded the most in recent years.

The Tunneling division eyes new markets in the years to come. The division focuses on mining, power generation and infrastructure projects related to road and railroad tunnels.

Thanks to its competence, size, staff, machinery, as well as its comprehensive technological solutions, the Bergteamet Mining and Tunneling Division is growing rapidly.
