Up-reaming to final diameter

1. The up-reaming phase commence from the bottom and up-wards, first carefully until the reamer head has full contact with the rock surface and then with normal loads and rotation. The thrust and rotation will be adjusted, from time to time, in accordance with our experience and the present to the rock conditions.

2. The reaming cycle ends when the reamer opens the shaft under the machine. The reamer is then disconnected from the drill string and secured by chains. After the machine and equipment is removed from the drill site the reamer is lifted out of the finished shaft by a crane unit or similar.
