The M E C Division is divided into six specialized departments for all kind of services:

Technical Design

Acknowledged competence in several fields. Recent achievements are the design of the only EU-approved mobile elevating work platform, the crane lorry based Safe Hoisting System approved forunderground use and complete design for all installations in two 1,300 metres deep shafts.

Component Service

Specialized in repairing and overhauling; rock drills, hydraulic components of any kind, heavy gearboxes and crushers, submersible pumps etc.

Heavy Vehicles and Machinery

Modern and well equipped workshops that build, repair and overhauls every conceivable type of machinery found within the mining industry.

Engineering workshop

Equipped with heavy duty machinery of all kind. Also specialists in wear protection with liquid metal coating onshafts, bearing brackets, gears, etc.

Welding workshop

Manufactures various kind of ducts, steel structures and constructions.

Mining work

This department performs all kind of manual labour underground. From general service to local rock reinforcement with manual bolting, mesh cladding and robotized shotcreting in shafts.

A speciality of this department is inspection and video documentation of shafts from a fully equipped service van.
