Special Vehicles

The M E C Division has an extensive experience from building customised special vehicles, such as; charge vehicles, shotcrete units, scalers and exploration drill rigs. Such special vehicles may be built on various chassis, either new or pre-used.
Examples: Charge Vehicles built on either mining machine chassis from Atlas Copco or truck chassis. Exploration drill rigs built on frames from crawler dumpers with drilling equipment according to customer’s specification. Amongst our customers you will find Boliden, Lundin Mining and Bergteamet Tunneling Division.

Evacuation Ducts

We manufacture ducts, service platforms, frames and practically anything that needs to be welded. Our workshop has capacity to roll and bend 1–8 mm sheet metal in aluminium, black or stainless steel and also fabricates round flanges. The largest order for evacuation ducts this far comprised 50 tons and was delivered to LKAB Malmberget during the winter of 2006–2007.

Ventilation

Bergteamet M E C Division has a long standing experience from manufacturing and fitting ventilation and media tubing in mines. Ventilation doors and walls are also products commonly manufactured.
